Walking forward together
Stewardship 2027 | Nativity on the Hill
Our strength is in our community. Each year we offer our time, our talents, and our financial gifts so that Nativity stays a sacred place, full of hope and peace for all who find themselves here.
“If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another.” —1 John 1:7
What is stewardship?
Stewardship is how we care for this place. It begins with gratitude for all we have received here, and it grows into a commitment to keep our doors and our hearts wide open.
Stewardship means more than a check. It is the time we offer, the work we do, and the gifts we share, so this holy place endures for future generations.
Time
We show up for one another. Whether in person or online, we worship together, celebrate life events, share meals, serve, and offer prayers and comfort.
Talent
Our talents run deep. Preparing the space, making music, tending the grounds, reading the word, organizing events, counting every dollar, welcoming every newcomer. Every talent shines.
Treasure
Financial support places us on stable ground. Your pledge sustains our worship, cares for our building on the hill, and helps us grow the Red Door Community.

Why make a pledge?
Nativity is a special place, not just because of the scenery or the facilities.
This parish speaks of unconditional love and sacredness: from the individuals who make up our faith community, to the holy stillness of the property, to the radical hospitality of the Red Door Community. We are finding new ways to offer love, hope, and peace to spiritual seekers, whether or not they come to worship on Sunday.
Your pledge is an investment in that future. It tells the Bishop’s Committee what we can count on in 2027, so we can plan with confidence and keep offering Radical Welcome.
How much should I give?
Hold space in your heart and pray about what your pledge looks like this year, and then give out of joy, abundance, and expectancy. Any gift you can offer strengthens us as a community, and we are grateful to receive it.
A pledge is a statement of intention, not a contract. If your circumstances change during the year, just let us know.
